SnapTab Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 26, 2026
SnapTab stores your data locally on your device, does not sell or share it, and bills subscriptions only through Apple or Google.
Overview
OneNomad LLC ("we", "our", "us") publishes SnapTab, a bill-splitting mobile app for iOS and Android. This policy describes what data SnapTab collects, how we handle it, and your rights.
We respect your privacy. We collect only what is necessary to make the app work, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
Data We Collect
SnapTab may collect the following data depending on the features you use:
- Contact information (name, phone number, email) when you choose to add people from your phone contacts or enter payment tags. This data is stored locally on your device and is only shared when you explicitly send a payment request.
- Photos when you use receipt scanning. Receipt images are sent to a third-party AI service for text extraction and are not stored by the AI provider beyond the duration of processing. Receipt images may be saved locally on your device for your bill history.
- Payment usernames (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal tags) that you enter in settings. These are stored locally on your device and used only to generate payment links and QR codes.
- Purchase and subscription history for in-app purchases and SnapTab Pro. Transactions are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We do not have access to your payment card or billing details.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
SnapTab Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription. Pricing:
- Monthly: $2.99 USD per month
- Yearly: $19.99 USD per year
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to those platforms’ terms. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period at the price of the selected plan.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your device account settings (Apple ID subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play subscriptions on Android). Cancelling a subscription does not immediately terminate access — you retain Pro features through the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.
We do not have access to your payment card, bank, or billing details. All billing is handled by Apple or Google. Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the point of purchase.
Apple’s standard EULA applies to App Store purchases: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Google Play purchases are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect analytics or usage data.
- We do not use advertising SDKs or tracking pixels.
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not require account creation or registration.
- We do not use cookies in the mobile app.
Third-Party Services
SnapTab uses the following third-party services:
- OpenRouter / Google Gemini for AI-powered receipt scanning. Receipt images are sent for processing and are not retained by the provider after the request is complete.
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store for in-app purchases, subscriptions, and app distribution.
- Venmo, Cash App, PayPal links are generated within the app, but payment processing occurs entirely within those third-party platforms. We do not process payments directly.
Data Storage
All user data (bill history, payment tags, contacts, receipt images) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed.
Your Rights
Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete your data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
If you are in the European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. If you are in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Children
SnapTab is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of SnapTab after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
